Congratulations Tess Angarane who played her 300th A grade game for Dalyston on Saturday.
Tess first took to the senior side in Round 12 of 1999 as a 13 year old. From there she become a permanent member the following year and is still playing today.
Her personal achievements fill a trophy cabinet having won the Dalyston A grade Best & Fairest 8 times. Her first being at age 15 in 2001 and continued on to 2014 which was a particularly good season as she was also honoured with the Alberton League Best & Fairest.
Tess continues to teach her skills to others and took on the role of A grade coach in 2007. Her knowledge of the game shows as she adjusts her game to accentuate her own strengths and be able to pick weaknesses in her opponents game.
A senior leader at the club when still in her teen years has provided Tess with a great competitive spirit.
Qualities that helped her as captain of Alberton also the Gippsland representative team which went on to win its only state title.
Always a team player Tess counts her three A grade premierships at Dalyston in 2010, 2011 and last season as her most satisfying achievements.
Tess has been an ornament to the game with her superb athleticism, never say die attitude and absolute commitment to the contest and fully deserves all the accolades heaped upon her.
